What is the difference between A3, A4 and A5?
A3: 29.7cm x 42.0cm (11.7" x 16.5"). I recommend a frame with a display area of 28cm x 35.5cm (11" x 14"). The largest frame I offer for A3 prints is the black option, which measures 43.0cm x 53.2cm (16.9" x 20.9") externally. A4: 21.0cm x 29.7cm (8.3" x 11.7"). For this size, I recommend a frame with a display area of 20cm x 25cm (8" x 10"). The largest frame I offer for A4 prints is the black option, which measures 30.5cm x 37.5cm (12" x 14.7") externally. A5: 14.8cm x 21.0cm (5.8" x 8.3"). I suggest a frame with a display area of 13.0cm x 18.0cm (5" x 7"). The largest frame available for A5 prints is also the black option, with external dimensions of 22.5cm x 27.5cm (8.9" x 10.8").
Any tips on taking the photos?
For the best results, try to take your photos on a bright, clear day. Choose an angle that captures your property the way you’d like it to appear in your portrait. Don’t stress too much – just take your time, and I’ll do the rest!
How will my portrait be delivered?
Once your portrait is ready, I’ll carefully package it to keep it safe. Unframed pieces are sent in a sturdy board-backed envelope, while framed items go in a protective corrugated box. Your order will be shipped via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service, and I’ll email you as soon as it’s on its way. If you’re local (within a 10-mile radius), I can hand-deliver your portrait if you prefer! If you need delivery outside the UK, please include this information when placing your order, or feel free to message me in advance. When placing your order, double-check the delivery address – especially if it’s a gift for someone else.
What is your returns policy?
As your portrait is a personalised item, I’m unable to accept returns. However, I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Please inspect your order upon receipt, and if it’s damaged in any way, get in touch with me so I can make it right.
And your privacy policy?
House & Property Portraits is committed to safeguarding your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR 2018. When you inquire about or purchase a property portrait, I may collect your name, address, phone number, and email address. If you wish to review or update any information I hold about you, please contact me via email. Rest assured, I will never share your personal information with third parties, and I take steps to ensure all data stored is secure.
